Hello, welcome to my e-portfolio! I am Madison and I am graduating from Xavier University Occupational Therapy Doctorate program December 2025. This is my e-portfolio is a repository to capture what I have completed in the OTD program.
About Me?
Hello, my name is Madison Wittekind. I am a newly graduated occupational therapist with a doctorate from Xavier University. I completed my Bachelors of Health Science with a concentration in Occupational and Behavioral Studies and a minor in Psychology at the University of Dayton.
I enjoy spending time with loved ones, reading, being outdoors, crafting, and traveling. I am passionate about helping people return to activities that bring meaning and purpose to their lives. I was drawn to occupational therapy because it blends compassion, creativity, and problem-solving, and it allows me to collaborate with individuals of all ages as they navigate challenges, build confidence, and reclaim the routines that matter most. I value occupational therapy's holistic approach and the opportunity to empower people to rediscover independence, engage fully in their communities, and life life with joy, dignity, and fulfillment.



Mission Statement
My mission is to provide compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based occupational therapy services that targets each person's unique goals, strengths, and values. I strive to promote functional independence and well-being through holistic, client-driven care that supports meaningful daily participation across the lifespan. By fostering growth, resilience, and skill development, I aim to empower individuals to confidently engage in their routines, advocate for themselves, and fully participate in their different environments. I am committed to provide purposeful therapeutic experiences that enhance quality of life and help every client live with dignity, fulfillment, and confidence.

Reflection
My strengths, personality traits, and learning styles will helped me complete the OTD program, 1-year, and 5-year goals. It will also help me in my future career and goals. It is important for me to know my strengths and weakness to allow me to be successful post graduation from OTD program at Xavier University along with my future career as an occupational therapist. Also by knowing my strengths I will be able to utilize them in practice as a practitioner.
